Using this site

This is a public information site about ModHarbor. There is no account, nothing to purchase, and no way to submit content. The site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the information accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free, and we may change or update the site at any time.

Independent verification is free, and these terms do not touch it

A signed ModHarbor mod carries its proof inside the file: an embedded Sigstore bundle. Anyone, including a host, a launcher, a player, or a competitor, can verify that signature against the public Fulcio and Rekor transparency logs, offline, using the open-source verifier or any Sigstore client. That verification needs no ModHarbor account, no call to our API, no agreement, and no attribution.

If ModHarbor were shut down tomorrow, every signature ever produced would still verify, forever, with no dependency on us. We claim no rights over independent signature verification, and these terms place no condition on it whatsoever.

Displaying ModHarbor's enriched verification is governed separately

Some verification states can only come from ModHarbor: whether an author is registered (Author verified), and whether a build has been Withdrawn or Revoked. Those states, the data behind them, and the ModHarbor name and mark are ours. If you display any of them in your own product, that display is governed by the Badge and Attribution Terms. Those terms exist to keep the badge honest wherever it appears; they do not restrict the free, independent verification described above.

Trademarks

"ModHarbor" and the ModHarbor hash-seal mark are trademarks of SolrLabs LLC. The Badge and Attribution Terms grant a limited license to use them for displaying ModHarbor verification data; no other use is permitted without our written permission.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A contact address will be published here before launch.
